    Terms of Service

    1. Introduction

    Welcome to Detail My Car ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile auto detailing, ceramic coating, paint correction, and related concierge vehicle care services (collectively, the "Services") provided in Orange County, California, and your access to our website at detailmycar.net.

    By scheduling an appointment, requesting a quote, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

    2. Mobile Detailing Service Terms

    Detail My Car provides premium mobile detailing services directly to your home, office, or designated location. To perform our Services effectively, we require:

    • Ample space to park our mobile detailing vehicle adjacent to your vehicle.
    • Safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the vehicle.
    • Permission from property management if the service is being performed at an apartment complex, parking garage, or commercial property.

    We arrive fully equipped with spot-free water and independent power. However, we reserve the right to refuse service if the location is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for professional detailing.

    3. Scheduling and Cancellation Policies

    We value our clients' time and dedicate specific blocks for luxury vehicle care.

    • Cancellations & Rescheduling: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
    • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
    • No-Shows: Failure to be present or provide access to the vehicle at the scheduled time will result in a full charge for the scheduled service.
    • Weather Conditions: As a mobile service, we are subject to weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather, we will contact you to reschedule without penalty.

    4. Customer Responsibilities and Vehicle Condition

    To ensure the highest quality results, we ask that you:

    • Remove all personal belongings, valuables, and heavy debris from the vehicle prior to our arrival. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.
    • Disclose any known pre-existing damage, delicate materials, aftermarket modifications, or sensitive electronics.

    Biohazards: We reserve the right to refuse service or apply additional surcharges if a vehicle contains biohazards (e.g., blood, mold, excessive pet waste, vomit).

    5. Service Limitations and Expectations

    Detail My Car specializes in premium vehicle restoration, but certain limitations apply:

    • Paint Correction: While we utilize advanced multi-stage polishing to remove swirl marks and oxidation, deep scratches that have penetrated the clear coat cannot be removed via polishing and may require professional repainting.
    • Ceramic Coatings: Ceramic coatings provide exceptional hydrophobic properties and UV resistance. However, they are not bulletproof and will not prevent rock chips, deep scratches, or damage from severe neglect. Proper maintenance is required to preserve the coating's longevity.
    • Stain Removal: We use professional-grade extraction and steam cleaning, but we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains, particularly those that have permanently dyed the fabric or leather.

    6. Pricing and Payment Terms

    All prices listed on our website are starting prices. Final pricing is determined upon visual inspection of the vehicle's size, condition, and specific client requests.

    • Payment is due in full upon completion of the service.
    • We accept major credit cards, Zelle, Apple Pay, and cash.
    • For extensive services such as multi-day paint correction or premium ceramic coatings, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure the booking.

    7. Limitations of Liability

    Detail My Car takes the utmost care when handling your luxury or exotic vehicle. However, our liability is strictly limited:

    • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to loose trim, peeling clear coat, degraded interior plastics, or mechanical issues.
    • We are not liable for damage resulting from undisclosed aftermarket modifications or delicate custom finishes.
    • In the rare event that damage occurs directly as a result of our negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of the detailing service provided or the cost to repair the specific damage, at our sole discretion.

    8. Intellectual Property

    All content, branding, logos, photography, and text on detailmycar.net are the exclusive property of Detail My Car. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written consent. We frequently photograph our work (Before & After transformations) for marketing purposes; license plates will be obscured upon request.

    9. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
